Job Description
Position Summary:
The HR Coordinator will support Human Resources and the HR Director by doing special projects and assisting with general administration regarding benefits, payroll, training and development, legal compliance, and other human resource issues.
Position Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor"s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
Experience:**
Two to five years of HR experience.

Job Responsibilities:
Providing timely assistance to employees regarding benefit and human resource questions and issues.
Maintaining employee personnel files to ensure legal compliance.
Preparing offer packets, benefit packets and other employee related information.
Coordinating employee benefit eligibility, enrollments and terminations.
Preparing employee census information for insurance, 401(k), and other reports.
Providing written and verbal employment verifications.
Coordinating new hire paperwork.
Assisting with the creation of training manuals, HR manual, and employee handbook.
Updating and creating job descriptions, as needed.
Writing and placing employment ads, as well as maintaining job postings.
Reviewing, screening, and maintaining applications and resumes.
Conducting phone screens on candidates.
Scheduling and participating in interviews.
Conducting background screenings for all prospective employees.
Schedule and order drug screening for all prospective employees.
Coordinating 90-day and annual performance appraisal processes.
Assisting with providing research for policies, training, strategic planning, and other human resource issues.
Coordinating benefit plan due diligence with HR Director.
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Performs HRIS data entry – EEOC demographics, address changes, benefits, etc.
Assists with maintenance of HRIS system, including education to employees.
Conducts exit interviews for voluntary resignations of scribe and administrative staff.
Assists with the preparation of the quarterly PA evaluation process.
Assist with meeting ACA requirements – data entry and calculating of hours worked.
Assist with filing workman"s comp injury reports and providing communication to employees.
Assist in executing employee termination procedures including advising employees on their rights and any benefits they are entitled to.
Assists with unemployment claims.
Assists the HR director with projects.
Assists executive team with projects and requests as needed.
Provides coverage for receptionist as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
