Position Description
CarePoint BlueSky Neurosciences, in partnership with Centerpoint Medical Center, is seeking Neurohospitalists to join our growing hospital-based, employed practice. This is a 100% inpatient position with a 7-on, 7-off schedule and no in-person stroke alert coverage, as stroke alerts are managed by our dedicated telemedicine team 24/7.

Neurohospitalist Position Details
- Preferred Candidates: Fellowship-trained or experienced
- Setting: 100% inpatient
- Schedule Options:
- > Traditional 7-on, 7-off schedule
- > Alternative 182 shifts annually
- Call Structure:
- > Stroke alerts managed 24/7 via telemedicine
- > On-call responsibilities limited to phone consults
- Teaching Opportunities: Potential for resident teaching with FM/IM GME programs
- Patient Volume: Average 15 patients per shift, with expected growth
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage critically ill and admitted patients as a consultant, including those with ischemic and hemorrhage stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), status epilepticus, trauma, and neurosurgical conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, hospitalists, neurology APPs, neurosurgeons, and certified neuroscience nurses to provide state-of-the-art, protocol-driven care.
Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed Salary: $400,000
