Corporate - Director of Talent Management
Position Description
The Director of Talent Management is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the recruitment, hiring, and retention of clinicians in alignment with the company’s mission and growth objectives. This role plays a critical part in developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies that ensure the organization attracts, hires, and retains top-tier clinical professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Position Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- At least seven (7) years of experience in talent acquisition, clinician recruitment, or workforce strategy within a healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of developing and leading strategic talent acquisition initiatives.
- Strong understanding of clinician hiring requirements, credentialing processes, and industry trends.
- Experience utilizing recruitment technologies, applicant tracking systems, and data analytics to drive decision-making.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform talent management decisions.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment and drive change within the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Talent Strategy & Leadership:
- Develops and executes a comprehensive talent management strategy for hiring and retaining clinicians, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent management and makes recommendations for continuous improvement to drive organizational performance.
- Ensures recruitment processes are effective, consistent, and scalable to meet high-volume hiring needs.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning:
- Leads the full-cycle recruitment process, including workforce forecasting, sourcing, selection, and onboarding of clinical professionals.
- Serves as a trusted advisor and develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies that result in successful talent acquisition.
- Manages the recruitment team, providing support, guidance, and mentoring.
Employer Branding:
Partners with the marketing team to strengthen the organizations’s employer brand to attract top clinical talent through partnerships, digital presence, and targeted outreach initiatives.
Retention & Engagement:
- Implements programs and initiatives to improve clinician engagement, job satisfaction, and long-term retention.
- Researches and assists in the development of performance management training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements with priority organizational concerns.
Onboarding Optimization:
Enhances onboarding workflows, leverages technology solutions, and develops best practices for efficiency and effectiveness in the onboarding of clinicians.
Partnership Development:
- Establishes and maintains relationships with medical schools, residency programs, and industry networks to create a strong pipeline of clinical talent.
- Works cross-functionally with clinical leadership, HR, legal, and operations teams to ensure staffing strategies align with patient care and business needs.
- Partners with senior leadership to align talent management strategies with business objectives and drive organizational change and transformation.
Data & Metrics:
- Utilizes data-driven insights and key performance indicators to assess recruitment success, hiring trends, and clinician retention rates.
- Monitors and evaluates recruiting performance, analyze trends, and proactively implement adjustments to achieve or exceed established goals.
Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensures recruitment and hiring practices comply with all healthcare regulations, employment laws, and industry standards.
- Develops and implements recruitment strategies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the hiring and retention of clinicians, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary Range
$110,000 - $140,000
