Position Summary

The Credentialing Coordinator will be actively involved in securing privileges for our providers in hospitals and emergency departments and sometimes in multiple states.

The Credentialing Coordinator will enter all new information, licensure expirables, and update information changes in MODIO. Idaho will be the state of expertise for all initial appointments and reappointments. The Credentialing Coordinator will train on licensure, KAMMCO, and the IMLC. This position will learn the initial process for all applicable states and assist with reappointments as needed. The Credentialing Coordinator will also train on Kansas initial appointments.

Please note: The ideal candidate for this position will reside in CO, UT, ID, or KS but all relevant applications will be considered.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma

Experience:

Three years or more of prior credentialing experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required
  • Ability to communicate professionally
  • Ability to effectively multi-task

  • Ability to compile documents for hospital credentialing for our providers
  • Works closely with physicians and advanced practice providers through the credentialing process
  • Tracks documents and timeframes associated with credentialing
  • Ability to meet short deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation

$26 - $31 an hour
