Corporate - HR Coordinator
Position Description
The HR coordinator will support Human Resources for CarePoint Health by doing special projects and assisting with general administration regarding benefits, payroll, training and development, legal compliance, and other human resource issues.
Position Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience:
At least one year of HR experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite and other administrative programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter who works well independently.
- Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completing them.
- Familiar with common office equipment (printers, copier, fax, etc.).

Job Responsibilities
- Completes onboarding/new hire paperwork for all new hires and hires into the HR/payroll system.
- Hires employees for EPIC in their HR/payroll system.
- Assists with interviews as needed.
- Prepares offers as requested and obtains all required steps of pre-employment process.
- Conducts background screenings and references for all prospective employees.
- Reviews benefits with physician and APP candidates as requested.
- Manages quarterly APP evaluation process.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Coordinates employee benefit eligibility, enrollments, new hires, and terminations.
- Processes COBRA enrollments for eligible employees.
- Maintains employee personnel files to ensure legal compliance.
- Completes exit interviews for all non-clinical employees.
- Assists with payroll auditing.
- Assists with open enrollment.
- Assists with 1095 Cs and W2s to ensure they are completed by the deadline each year.
- Manages updating the CarePoint emergency medicine and hospitalist medicine contact lists monthly.
- Manages the 45/90-day review program to ensure all reviews are completed. Tracks results in a shared document for use to determine trends/patterns.
- Assists with updating content on the CarePoint intranet.
- Quarterly 401K eligible participants report.
- Reviews and processes salary increases monthly.
- Provides coverage for reception as needed.
- Manages the provider evaluation process to ensure evaluations are completed annually.
- Coordinates the annual performance review process for all divisions within CarePoint Health.
- Assists with completing EEO-1 report as needed.
- Assists with processing the PCORI fee each year.
- Assists with conducting annual market research regarding benefits and compensation for the organization.
Salary
Starting at $55,000 annually.
