Position Summary:
Provides on-site daily support to the physicians and advanced practice providers of the Colorado hospitalist medicine program. Ensures all aspects of billing, onboarding and operations for services are successfully operating. Assists with obligations of the group and works to continuously improve program operations. 

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an acute clinical setting.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and payors.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong commitment to actively supporting an ethical, open working environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office and Google applications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provides daily administrative support to the hospitalist medicine program.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Denver office and the onsite providers.
  • Tracks physician payroll.
  • Works with hospital marketing and physician relations on initiatives and any outreach to the community.
  • Assists with provider credentialing for the group.
  • Coordinates with physicians to complete orientation and on boarding.
  • Coordinates ordering supplies for hospitalists.
  • Coordinates with R1 on any billing issues.
  • Facilitates monthly hospitalist meetings.
  • Assists with Ingenious Med.
  • Tracks each physician’s certifications (ACLS, BLS, DEA, etc.) and ensures that there are no lapses in renewal by sending timely reminders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Location:
Denver, CO

Salary:
$20 - $30 per hour

Schedule:
Monday - Thursday, 8 hours per day
