Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will have primary responsibility for completing CarePoint’s non-patient billing, which falls under the finance/accounting team. This person must be highly proficient in Excel and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • One year of accounting experience required.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Contract management experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Gmail and Microsoft Office with a good knowledge of relevant software and databases.
  • Proficiency in Excel (i.e., sum functions, pivot tables, IF/Then statements).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
  • Exceptional decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manages monthly non-patient billing for the organization.
  • Works with the divisional leadership to extract billing data from medical contracts.
  • Maintains the AR reconciliation file, including the tracking of outstanding AR.
  • Creates and tracks invoices.
  • Communicates with customers on AR that is over sixty days old.
  • Collaborates with the divisional leadership on billing questions and concerns.
  • Assists the finance team with billing-related matters, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

$20 - $25 hourly
