Job Description

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for supporting the Assistant Controllers. The position is entry level and salary will be entry level.

Principal Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with the preparation of payroll
  • Manage employee business expense reimbursements
  • Manage employee continuing medical education reimbursements
  • Prepare invoices
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
  • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information
  • Special projects and process improvement projects as identified
  • Other duties as assigned

Competencies for Success:

  • Accounting degree required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently while handling multiple tasks
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Expected to maintain an extremely high degree of accuracy
  • Wants to understand the reasons underlying a process or procedure
  • High degree of motivation, adaptability and flexibility
