Business Development Representative – Lead Generator

Position Description

The Business Development Representative (BDR) – Lead Generator will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by identifying, cultivating, and generating new business opportunities. This position will strategically leverage expertise in lead generation, targeted marketing, and the ability to translate market insights into actional sales opportunities on behalf of the company. The BDR – Lead Generator will focus on scheduling discovery calls for Blue Sky Executives and Regional Sales Directors to expand the sales pipeline.

Position Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field required.

Experience:

At least three (3) years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably in the field of healthcare, neurosciences, telemedicine, or teleneurology required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, lead generation tools, CRM software, and digital marketing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams to achieve company-wide sales objectives.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, cold-calling, and targeted outreach.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees the development and execution of lead generation strategies to drive business growth and market penetration.
  • Identifies new sales opportunities through research, cold calling, networking, and other outreach efforts.
  • Remains proficient in emerging lead generation technologies and leverages the latest tools and platforms to foster substantial growth in sales pipeline opportunities.
  • Collaborates closely with sales and marketing staff to create targeted campaigns and to optimize lead-conversion rates.
  • Manages and analyzes lead databases to ensure timely follow-up and effective conversion into active sales opportunities.
  • Records all prospecting and lead generation activities into the company CRM, including all new opportunities, key contacts, contact details, and next steps.
  • Builds and nurtures strong relationships with prospective clients, ensuring consistent engagement to evaluate opportunity timing and readiness for lead conversion.
  • Oversees the RFP process, collaborating with necessary resources and subject matter experts to deliver creative, accurate, and timely response submissions.
  • Collaborates with the Executive Director of Sales and company leadership to manage all aspects of trade show and conference participation, including registration, exhibits, material logistics, milestone tracking, lead organization, conversion tracking, and event ROI, ensuring the successful execution of marketing and public events.
  • Coordinates and confirms key customer meetings and calendar invites, ensuring efficient scheduling across multiple stakeholders and time zones.
  • Establishes and monitors performance metrics for the lead generation process, ensuring alignment with overall sales pipeline growth goals and objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000
