Corporate - Part-Time Assistant General Counsel

Position Description

CarePoint is seeking an experienced, part-time Assistant General Counsel to join our legal team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This is a part-time, flexible, hybrid position anticipated to require approximately 20 hours per week, with one day (5-6 hours) per week in person in the Greenwood Village office.

In this position, you will:

  • Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including professional services agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, BAAs, and employment agreements.
  • Support contract management activities, including intake, risk assessment, redlining, and tracking contract status and key terms.
  • Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Help standardize templates and contract processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Coordinate with internal operations teams as needed on contract-related matters.
  • Assist in the ongoing development and administration of the company’s healthcare compliance program.

This position is a hybrid role offering the flexibility of both remote and in-office work, accompanied by a compensation rate of $100/hr and Sick Leave. This role is located in our Greenwood Village office.

Qualifications

Education:

J.D. degree from an accredited law school.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a corporate attorney, either in-house or at a law firm.
  • Significant experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, preferably in the healthcare industry.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
