CarePoint Health’s Dr. Jamie Linker Named Top Doctor by 5280 and Castle Connolly, Putting Her in Exclusive Company

CarePoint Health’s Jamie Linker, MD, MBE, has been named a 2024 Top Doctor by 5280 Magazine and Castle Connolly, putting the young Emergency Medicine Physician in elite company — only a small percentage of the 1 million board-certified physicians across the U.S. are honored as Top Doctors each year.

5280 and Castle Connolly, a New York-based healthcare research and information company, partner annually to create a list of the top physicians in the country. The digital nomination process allows licensed doctors nationwide to recommend candidates in any medical specialty in any part of the country for the honor. Castle Connolly’s physician-led research team then thoroughly vets each nominated doctor’s professional qualifications, education, hospital and faculty appointments, research leadership, professional reputation, disciplinary history, and, if available, outcomes data. Also considered in the review process are the physician’s interpersonal skills, such as listening and communicating effectively, demonstrating empathy, and instilling trust and confidence.

Dr. Linker joined CarePoint in July 2017 after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine and completing her Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. While in medical school at Penn, she also received a Master of Bioethics degree.

Named a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians in 2020, Dr. Linker practices primarily in the Sky Ridge Medical Center (Lone Tree, CO), Sky Ridge South Parker (Parker, CO), and Swedish Southwest (Littleton, CO) emergency departments. At the main Sky Ridge ED, she also supervises the off-service residents who do rotations there.

Before going to medical school, Dr. Linker attended Cornell University in New York, where she graduated with distinction in all subjects.
