CarePoint Health’s Katie Sprinkel Named Physician of the Month at The Medical Center of Aurora

CarePoint Health Emergency Medicine physician Katie Sprinkel, MD, was named Physician of the Month for the month of December 2023 at The Medical Center of Aurora (Aurora, CO).
Dr. Sprinkel has been the TMCA emergency department’s medical director since January 2023.
She joined CarePoint in 2013 after completing her Emergency Medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, where she was chief resident. She is a graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.
Dr. Sprinkel has special interests in wilderness medicine and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and works on quality initiatives, including sepsis and stroke care, at TMCA.
